What does it mean when a comedian/pundit can get over a million people to support him in a presidential election? People are desperate for anything other than the same old garbage that goes on in politics.

As far as politics goes - the only people I've seen who I'm mildly interested in are Mike Huckabee and Stephen Colbert - and the latter is for entertainment purposes only right now.

All I seem to do is work, scouts and class. I need a break.

Camp is camp - 6 weeks and counting.
I count several thousand dollars per night and keep a group of 16 year olds working to clean the trading post.

I'm tired and miss one of my friends who left for Europe yesterday. She'll be back in 4 weeks.

Just figured I'd update a bit.
latah.

The end of the semester has come - I sat up last night and did 17 chapters of Business Law homework. I'm tired. I'm still working on gettina a graphics card for my computer so it will support my new monitor and I need 2 sticks of RAM.

I can't leave for camp until after the 7th due to the fact that I have an exam that day - other than that one exam, I could leave by Tuesday - other than that class I could leave Friday.

I'm exhausted - off to get some sleep before my eye exam.

6 multiplied by 9?

I've neglected this blog.
On films: I realize that firefly is not a film, but I have recently purchased and watched the whole of it and was left wanting more. I've seen several episodes as well as Serenity so I now continue to ask: "what is wrong with Fox?"
I saw 300 a few weeks back - my verdict: ok. I was disappointed in the length - they could've closed out the story better and made it a great movie to me. I thought there was too much nudity. The effects were great but they needed to focus on the story rather than making sure that every sword hit has a blood splatter.

On politics: the state of this country is frightening. Is there anyone who stands for anything? No political figure has been able to hold my respect besides Joe Wilson. I have this sinking feeling that this country is pretty much screwed due to foolish argumentation and arrogant greed.

On music: I just bought a few CD's - Relient K [Five Score And Seven Years Ago]: I'm a mite disappointed but there are a few songs good enough to justify the purchase (plus I have all of thier other CDs so why not). Third Day [Chronology Vol. 1]: A lot of repeated work but good. Worth the buy. The Almost [Southern Weather]: Amazing. Aaron Gillespe (sp?) is awesome - I hope I can put out an album like that one day. Anberlin [Cities]: Pretty close to an extension of Never Take Friendship Personal - it's good. This puts me at overr 300 CDs now. (so that's where all of my money went...)

I hope to bring the status of this blog to semi active - perhaps a post per week.

A new computer

I'm shopping for a new computer - preferably a laptop - and I think I've settled on one - the only problem with it is it's large and costs almost 3 times what I spent on my desktop.
The verdict is that I want to get a MacBook pro with a 17 inch screen (in a magazine I read it was nicknamed "the cafeteria tray" due to it's size). I've never owned a Mac but I think I would like to avoid vista at any cost. I am also drawn to them because of superior reputation in recording and video or photo editing.

I may be able to buy it before summer but it's doubtful. Perhaps during the summer.

I'm now on spring break - 1 week to work and make money. I have no life.
Some people go to the beach or at the very least hang out with friends but no - just work.

I have a cold. I hate that. I have 2 tests to take today.

Business law is a terrible class due to the fact that I can't understand the professor. (She speaks ebonics)
I like my Accounting class - go figure.

.

I seem to have lost my muse. When previously I could write some decent prose I am at a complete loss for words. My mind is simply a wasteland of foolish thoughts and petty complaints of life. I have found it difficult to even complain about government, hypocrisy, and waste. This comes partially because I have been burned out and recovering but also because my mind has deteriorated from a lack of very deep and philosophical reasoning - I find "because I said so" to be more desirable to me as a response than a well thought out and structured defense.

I found that some of my writing was best while I was stressed beyond sanity and depressed from the work I was neglecting - but I also was kind of miserable so I won't do that again. I need some depth and substance to debate. I have always been a passive debater but I want to get in a discussion where there can be no answer and hash out all possible outcomes.

I have a distaste for my selections in music - I'm finding myself listening to country and wierd Al all of the time - which can cause cancer in my mind. It's time for a change. Unmerited dissatisfaction is my central theme right now. I want for very little while desiring everything.

Foolishness. I crave wisdom.
I will post this on both blogs for the sake of ease rather than writing this again in different words. Indolence.

An imported note from Facebook

Ok. So I'm back to the "hey I want to do stuff with music" idea again. I've avoided it since spring due to the music theory grades (that really was a downer). So I focused all of my energy into business. God apparently didn't care for me avoiding opportunities to play and be out there so I've had lots of obstacles with school and life in general - nothing big, just numerous. I feel a peace about playing again and don't want to screw up the gift I believe God gave me by hiding or neglecting it.As far as school goes - I'm not going to CIU again right now. I'm going to look around for this Fall or next spring.

I switched to the new blogger.
I'm in an e-commerce class being bored. To death.
